OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian government has approved a decision to ban the import of state purchases of construction vehicles.

Recall the last summer it was published such a document, which concerned a ban on the supply for state and municipal needs the imported vehicles, as well as other engineering products. New regulation applies, first of all, construction machinery, vehicles that are used in the development of mineral deposits, municipal engineering and other types of vehicles. In this case, from the prohibition it was withdrawn countries that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union. Vehicles from these countries will be delivered on the same basis as Russian-made, says the agency "Finmarket".

The government hopes that a ban on government purchases of imported vehicles will give additional impetus to import substitution of the above products. As it was noted, for each type of vehicle there are examples of Russian products that will participate in state and municipal procurement.
