OREANDA-NEWS. Bizon strives to make the application of plant protection agents more efficient. Since now at a special request from the client the self-propelled and trailer sprayers shall be equipped with lighting system of special design.

The quality of chemical treatment of the plants shall be determined not only by technical specifications of modern sprayers, their ability to evenly apply solution over the treated fields, but also by climatic peculiarities of a particular area. According to the expert opinion the efficiency of application of plant protection agents drops by approx. 50% during hot days. High air temperature causes evaporation of chemical agents, and the wind facilitates the development of a so called aerosol drift.

In order to ensure the more efficient use of plant protection gents Bizon agrarian technologists recommend to treat the crops during the night, when the air temperature drops, moisture level grows, and wind speed goes down. It is proposed to illuminate the spray boom and nozzles with special LED lamps to resolve this problem. The operator shall be able to control the quality of plant treatment even through dark hours. If a nozzle has clogged, it is visible due to lack of illuminated spray flare. Additional general lighting of spray booms provides for good visibility of spraying process, allows to observe the obstacles in the line of sprayer travel.

When the booms are folded into the transportation position it provides for the circular lighting of sprayer, which provides for refueling and servicing of the machine without any additional light sources.

Bizon plans to install the lighting systems at client's request both onto the new self-propelled and trailer sprayers, and onto those, which have already been used.
