Representatives of TATNEFT participated in the Rostekhnadzor meeting
The meeting was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Aleshin, Head of the Rostekhnadzor Federal Service, Boris Petrov, Head of the Rostekhnadzor Volga Office, and representatives of industrial enterprises of the Volga region.
Before the plenary part of the meeting, the participants had got acquainted with the best practices in the field of industrial and energy safety and energy efficiency. TATNEFT presented in the Company’s exposition the automated information system "Industrial control of health, safety and environment" implemented at the Company in 2014. This system has become an effective and handy tool for the professionals engaged in the industrial control on the basis of modern IT technologies.
The exhibition also presented the products manufactured by the TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants, which had started commercial production of highly marketable oil products: diesel fuel, jet fuel and base oils.
Boris Petrov, Head of the Volga Rosnekhnadzor Office, presented to the audience main outcome of the Office operations in 2014 and key tasks for the current year.
During the meeting, presentations for the audience were made by representatives of large industrial enterprises in the region. In particular, Rais Khisamov, Deputy General Director - Chief Geologist of JSC TATNEFT, featured the geodynamic polygons system applied in the oil fields of Tatarstan. The Company has been working on the issues of geodynamic monitoring since the 80s of the last century. In the early 1990s the Company began studying identified zones of high seismic activity with application of the recurrent high-precision leveling. There are satellite monitoring systems functioning at the Company’s oil fields today. According to the Chief Geologist of TATNEFT, the system of geodynamic control allows to confidently say that the hydrocarbon deposits development process virtually has no effect on the seismological situation in the region, and there is no need to create a separate geodynamic polygon for each field.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, pointed out that the safety aspects are resolved in the Republic at a high level. “The Republic’s growth points are crude oil refining, petrochemicals production and mechanical engineering, therefore not only the environmental safety, but also the economic security depend on the trouble-free operation of the enterprises”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Managers of a number of industrial enterprises were presented governmental and departmental awards during the event. Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, was awarded a commemorative medal of the Federal Service for Environmental and Nuclear Supervision for his great contribution to the industrial and energy safety of the Republic of Tatarstan.
