OREANDA-NEWS. The E-procurement mechanism implemented at JSC TATNEFT continues to ensure the effectiveness of procurement procedures, tenders and allows broadening the range of suppliers.   11,500 supplier companies were registered in the electronic trading system of the Company in 2014.

Over the last year, the Logistics Administration of JSC TATNEFT (UMTO) conducted 1,351 two-stage procurement procedures for the total amount of RUR 14,000 million (1,897 procedures for the amount of RUR 9,486 million in 2013). The first stage was a call for bids, while at the second stage there was the price reduction auction among the participants who had valued the whole lot. 941 auctions for the amount of RUR 4,900 million (1,237 procedures for the amount of RUR 4,409 million in 2013) were successfully carried out with additional savings on the price, determined in the first stage, amounting to RUR 502 million (RUR 286 million in 2013).

Subsidiaries, service, contracting and independent oil companies are actively involved to use the resources of the electronic trading platform. In 2014 the subsidiaries of TATNEFT and oil service companies carried out 2,864 procurement procedures for the amount of RUR 5,777 million (2,678 procedures for the amount of RUR 6,858 million in 2013).

The UMTO experts have developed and placed on the trade and procurement site a Limiting price book on construction and finishing materials on the basis of the price discounts achieved off the price list of OOO "Karat" (Almetyevsk). This has considerably reduced the time spent by the experts of the Administration in  marketing evaluation.
