OREANDA-NEWS. Today after the completion of upgrading works in the Volgograd Region Bubnovskaya compressor station was commissioned.

Bubnovskaya CS upgrading is an important stage of modernization of Petrovsk - Pisarevka portion, Urengoy - Novopskov trunk gas pipeline, which is installed for reliable supply of gas in sufficient volumes to the Southern Corridor gas pipeline system (Western route).

During Bubnovskaya CS upgrading modern gas pumping units, particularly Volga GPU (6 x 16 MW), air coolers, dust collectors and other equipment, mainly of domestic production, were installed in the compressor shop No. 2. After upgrading the compressor shop No.2 allows to provide gas transportation in the amount of 31.9 billion cubic meters per year.
