Acron to Supply 1 mln Tonnes of Fertilisers to Russian Farmers in 2015
OREANDA-NEWS. Acron Group has signed the first six agreements with the regional agriculture departments on mineral fertiliser supply in 2015. The agreements have been executed with Novgorod, Smolensk, Orel, Pskov, Bryansk and Lipetsk regions. The process of executing similar agreements with the other Russian federal subjects is underway. In total, Russian farmers will receive approximately 700,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate and 400,000 tonnes of NPK.
Acron Group has already delivered more than 250,000 tonnes of fertilisers for the 2015 spring sowing campaign. The Company receives dozens of letters of appreciation from the Russian agrarians for the on-time and full mineral fertiliser supplies.
Acron Group offers a discount of at least 15% to 20% of the estimated price on the mineral fertiliser purchases to its Russian consumers not to jeopardize the 2015 spring sowing campaign. The Group updates the mineral fertiliser pricelist for the Russian agricultural producers on the company's official website on a monthly basis.
Acron Сhairman of the Board of Directors Alexander Popov comments:
"Supplying mineral fertilisers to the Russian farmers is the highest priority for Acron Group. Therefore, we are interested in considering and satisfying all requests for mineral fertilisers. We estimate that the peak of the domestic market supply will be between February and May 2015. The total volume of fertilisers supplied to the Russian agrarians this year can exceed 1 million tonnes, which would be our all-time record.
Considering the current economic situation, we have decided to support Russian agricultural producers. We hope that it will help maintain required fertiliser consumption level to get the high yield."
