OREANDA-NEWS. VNIIR specialists shipped 6 cabinets of longitudinal differential protection for 110 kV lines to 330 kV Yuzhnaya Substation in St. Petersburg.

Installation supervision and commissioning, along with technical support for Customer's personnel are scheduled within the project.

Yuzhnaya Substation, a major power source in St. Petersburg, supplies power to 4 municipal districts: Kolpinsky, Moscovsky, Central and Pushkinsky - over 1 million people in total. VNIIR's equipment, shipped within reconstruction of 110 kV HV lines, is intended to enhance reliability of urban power grid.
