OREANDA-NEWS. Dmitry Fomichev, CEO of VNIIR Hydroelectric Automation, and Andrei Pishchikov, CEO of Power Machines - Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers, have lately signed memorandum of understanding on development of long-term cooperation regarding implementation of power projects.

The cooperation relates to construction of turn-key facilities, modernization and reconditioning of power sites, manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, automation of utilities etc.

The parties agreed to implement power projects; to arrange interaction between engineers within integration of transformer equipment into substations and cooperation between maintenance teams in the from of trainings; to allow participation of VNIIR Hydroelectric Automation's personnel in installation and commissioning, carried out by specialist from Power Machines - Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers. Besides, the parties will share experience in certification and standardization.

Consolidation of knowledge and experience will allow both companies to provide customers with new advanced solutions relating to construction of new power sites and modernization of existing facilities.

Dmitry Fomichev, CEO of VNIIR Hydroelectric Automation, commented on the cooperation: "VNIIR Hydroelectric Automation intends to develop partnership in many areas, though, first of all, we aim to cooperate within construction and modernization of hydroelectric sites.
