Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Employees of private security agencies must be engaged in protection of objects of national significance
OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2015. At the visiting session of the State Commission on Emergency Situations in Zaporizhia on Monday, February 2, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk commanded the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to hold talks with representatives of private security companies concerning the need to delegate their employees to protect the most significant objects.
"Everyone obtained a license, everyone has an opportunity to delegate their employees and also employees of private security agencies to put on reserve of the regional commissions on emergency situations," he said.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed on the importance to summon the meeting of the State Commission on Emergency Situations in Zaporizhia, "This is one of the most difficult and potentially dangerous areas," he explained and reminded that there are 33 chemically hazardous and 19 radiation-hazardous objects.
He informed that this day he had checked the level of protection of the Dnipro hydroelectric station. "I can acknowledge certain progress", stressed the Head of Government. Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to the Deputy Chairman of the State Commission on Emergency Situations with a request to inspect Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, "Zaporizhia NPP is actually the largest in Ukraine, almost half of energy produced in Ukraine by nuclear power plants, is generated at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant". "As far as I know, the Security Service and law enforcement bodies take every measure to protect all key facilities, including nuclear power plants", stressed the Prime Minister. |
