OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed the State Emergency Service to purchase additional equipment for SES without delay. He said at a session of the State Commission on Emergency Situations in Zaporizhia on Monday, February 2.

He reminded that the budget envisages UAH 200 million for these purposes, "To purchase fire-fighting and, if necessary, additional equipment for the State Emergency Service. Your objective is to find cheap and quality equipment, my objective is to find money for this. Everyone solves his own issue".

In addition, Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that now the SES possesses only one sanitation aircraft. He stressed the need to urgently equip another plane based on AN-26 of the state-owned enterprise the Plant 410 Civil Aviation, and to purchase an ambulance helicopter.

Moreover, he reminded that in the process of evacuating the civilians from the ATO area there had been injured seven people as a result of shelling by terrorists.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk commissioned to hand over to the State Emergency Service an armored KrAZ to evacuate people from the zone of anti-terrorist operations.

At the meeting of the State Commission on Emergency Situations in Zaporizhia, Arseniy Yatseniuk added that a summary of the cost and deadlines to complete such objects would be sent to the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine. After that, the Head of Government stressed, we need to “actually draft a program to finance the completion of these facilities to ensure accommodation of internally displaced persons”, “We will think together with the banking sector about how to solve an issue of financing and granting a long-term loan”.
