OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Aeroflot ("the Company", Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) announces the results of a meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors that took place on 29 January 2015, chaired by Kirill Androsov.

The agenda of the meeting included the following items:

Consolidated financial results of Aeroflot Group for the first nine months of 2014. Aeroflot Group’s market share of domestic passenger traffic was in line with 2013 results at 30.2% (with 87.7 million total passengers carried including international airlines). Group revenue was RUB 236.7 bln, a 6.5% increase over the same period in 2013.

JSC Aeroflot flight safety in 2014. The flight safety ratio for 2014 was 99.972%. This rating is positive and demonstrates that the Company adheres to the highest standards of safety in the industry. The Board set the main areas of activity for increasing JSC Aeroflot flight safety in 2015.

Shareholder and investor relations. The Board reviewed a report on the results of shareholder and investor relations in 2014 and an activity plan for 2015. It was agreed to continue active engagement with the investment community to ensure correct positioning of the Company in the current environment and more complete understanding of its competitive advantages in order to ensure speedy recovery of the Company’s capitalisation when markets improve.

Status of JSC Aeroflot’s strategic partnership with other airlines. Aeroflot has achieved more favourable conditions for cooperating with members of Skyteam, of which Aeroflot is a member, as well as competitor alliances. Potential strategic partners for key geographical regions have been identified. Despite the current geopolitical situation, Aeroflot is perceived as a strategic partner for long-term partnership under agreements with leading European, Asian and Middle Eastern carriers.

Results of the options programme for 2014. A resolution was adopted not to make payouts under this management incentivisation program.

Audit of implementation of Aeroflot Group’s Long-Term Development Program. The Board approved: - Standards for auditing the implementation of Aeroflot Group’s Long-Term Development Program; - Scope of work for auditing the implementation of Aeroflot Group’s Long-Term Development Program; The results of the audit will be used to prepare proposals to improve operational efficiency of Aeroflot Group.
