Ulyanovsk plant at the end of 2014 exported 6461 cars, which is less by 38% than a year ago. the representative of UAZ informed about it the newspaper "Izvestia", noting that in addition to the export to the CIS countries (Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus) it is carried out in China, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, Hungary, Syria, Cuba, Egypt, Mongolia, and others.

UAZ emphasized that a significant reduction in exports is partly connected with the fact that in 2013 there was a record surge in sales of UAZ SUVs in foreign markets: it was sold 10,421 cars (+ 37%).

"In our view, the decline in sales the last year was provided by the general economic situation, as well as the loss of the market of Ukraine. In 2015, our goal is to return to the volume of export sales in 2013. And we have a clear plan. UAZ will study new markets of sales in foreign countries: South America, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa ", - the enterprise informed "Izvestia". As it was reported previously, sales of UAZ in Ukraine actually stopped.

In the Russian market UAZ sold 49844 cars for the last year. Therewith, the decrease in sales was only 3% compared to 2013, while the Russian market as a whole fell by 10%.
