OREANDA-NEWS. In December VNIIR shipped equipment for the needs of Kupol Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant.

The shipped LV switchgears, transformers and LV devices will be utilized within the project on reconstruction and technical retrofitting aimed to develop specialized production of gyroscopes at the enterprise.

Kupol Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant - a major R&D enterprise within national defense industry - has manufactured short-range air-defense systems and civilian industry products for many years. It is also included in Top 200 National Enterprises.
