OREANDA-NEWS.  SAS announced second most punctual airline in 2014.

Scandinavian Airlines SAS was announced the second most on time company of all global airlines in 2014, being only 0,04% behind the winner of the competition. Last year 88,6 % of SAS flights landed on time.

These results had been announced by the independent provider of travel data services FlightStats, which announces the most punctual global airlines each year. In all, 31 airlines representing approximately 7.6 million flights were included in the analysis for 2014.

“Receiving this award is a confirmation that SAS is a world beating airline. At the same time, it is also an important award for our flyers, as it confirms that SAS is a reliable airline,” said R?ta Juciene, SAS Country Manager Baltic States.

Flightstats records the arrival times of over 150,000 flights a day, and then analyses and publishes the data for the benefit of millions of travellers worldwide.
