OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2015. Yingli Solar has announced that the company has begun the manufacturing of Clean ARC anti-reflective (AR glass) coating from its production plant.

The company made this announcement at the World Future Energy Summit.

CleanARC coating was developed by Enki Technology based in California.

By reducing dirt accumulation, CleanARC helps to lower the operation and maintenance budget.

This reduces washing expenses of modules, allowing effective cost efficiency as well as increased energy harvest.

This is because the coating’s structure and hydrophobic properties create an effective self-cleaning condition through its anti-soiling property.

These CleanARC coated solar panels are ideal for project sites with harsh environmental conditions such as sandstorms, sea mist, high humidity, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

They possess high resistance to abrasion and environmental degradation.

It is found that a dirty solar module can give a 30 percent less output during tough climates.

Last week, Yingli Solar completed the grid connection of a 10 megawatt solar power plant in China’s Hebei Province in December 2014.

The solar power plant is located in Fuping and will produce more than 12,000 megawatt-hours of electricity per year.
