OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2015. The agenda of the convened meeting included two questions about the decisions of the meeting and on the adoption of the Charter in the new edition.

The vote to annul the decision dated January 13, divided the members of the Bureau into two groups: voted 4 companies (ASITO, Klassika Asigurari, MoldAsig, Victoria Asigurari), vs. 4 (Acord Grup, Grawe Carat Asigurari, Moldcargo, Moldova Astrovaz), and 1 company abstained (Donaris VIG).

At the same time, the legitimacy of their decisions on January 13 was challenged in the court by the company Victoria Asigurari, and as a precautionary measure their activity is suspended. The second issue on the agenda was to amend the Charter of the Bureau; and this decision was supported by 4 companies, against - 5.

All members of the Bureau recognized the necessity to change the Charter in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, which decided to establish a working group that will include representatives of all 9 members of the Bureau. Last Friday was published the NCFM decision, granted the right to issue a green card to the company Acord Grup, which thus became the ninth issuer of such policies in Moldova.

During the meeting, the members of the Bureau drew attention of NCFM that the companies has collected the required guarantee fund, increasing it from USD2 million to USD 4.25 million as it was demanded by the international Council of the Bureau, however the procedure and the mechanism of transfer of these funds in the European Bank, in accordance with the requirements of the international Council Bureau is not defined.

This jeopardizes the preservation of Moldova the right to issue the Green card policies.
