OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2015. Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science together with the World Bank plans to launch two projects for the development of the education system in 2015. This has been announced by head of department Aslan Sarinzhipov in an interview in Akorda today.

"This year we plan to launch two new projects. The first concerns the development of the education system and will include a large component of education informatization. Thus, we want to attract experts and knowledge of the World Bank in order to help us develop informatization of education," A. Sarinzhipov said.

The second project, he said, concerns of youth policy.

"The World Bank will also support us in the development of the infrastructure of youth organizations. This project will be financed in the form of a grant, under which we will issue financial support to youth organizations that will work across Kazakhstan and in different areas," A. Sarinzhipov said.

Grants will be distributed on a competitive basis and achieve the amount from 5 to 50 thousand US dollars.

"In general, about 5-6 billion tenge are expected to be provided for these projects. I think we will discuss this amount with the World Bank and come to a common decision," A. Sarinzhipov concluded.
