OREANDA-NEWS. In 2015, the Russian government is ready to allocate 10 billion Rubles for additional scrapping program. According to the agency "Interfax" referring to a source in one of the departments of finance and economic bloc, such a proposal is in the so-called "anti-crisis plan", which was approved on January 22nd in a meeting with the president. "The sum of 20 billion Rubles takes into account the previously mentioned funds at the beginning of the year and an additional 10 billion Rubles," - said the official. He also added that it is too early to speak about the terms of the extension of the program and its effect.

In December of 2014 the government decided to extend the program for recycling of cars in 2015, writes "RBK". For the program it will be allocated an additional 10 billion Rubles, while another 2.9 billion Rubles will be allocated for the completion of the program in the last year. Previous program, which was designed for 170 thousand cars, was launched in September of 2014. According to it, for the scrap of the passenger car over six years it was a discount of 50 thousand rubles for the purchase of new car, by the scheme trade-in - 40 thousand rubles. For the delivery of the old truck or bus, it was offered a discount of 350 thousand and 300 thousand rubles, respectively.
