PM: Gov't to adopt a decision to support families of those who died in Mariupol
OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian Government shall decide to provide assistance to the families of those killed in the shelling by terrorists in Mariupol. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the visiting session of the Government at SES of Ukraine on Monday, January 26.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko to submit relevant decision of the Government, "we will adopt a decision how to help and who to help."
Moreover, the PM ordered Donetsk regional state administration to carry assessment and provide specific technical and economic calculations concerning the needs to hold rehabilitation activities in Mariupol, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade - to submit for consideration of the Government a decision to allocate funds from the Reserve Fund of the State Budget.
Apart from that, according to the Code of Civil Protection, the State Emergency Commission is to take a decision on the mobilization of builders and forming corresponding battalions to rebuild Mariupol and “other destroyed by Russian terrorists towns". Arseniy Yatseniuk also informed that the State Emergency Commission shall also solve on the need to deliver and ensure the passage of humanitarian aid to affected areas. On introducing emergency regimes and high alert modes civilians shall not acquire additional duties and shall not take any extra measures.
