OREANDA-NEWS. The Casting and Rolling Complex (CRC, an affiliate of OMK-Steel, based in Vyksa, the Nizhny Novgorod region, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK Joint Stock Company, Moscow) produced over 1 million tons of hot-rolled coiled stock; that figure is up 10% from 2013. The complex rolled out 24,000 tons of sheets and 328,000 tons of strips in the period under review.

"The expansion of production is caused by the growing demand for sheets made by the pipe shops of Vyksa Steel Works (VSW). VSW is also part of OMK, and its production capacity and order volume have also grown as compared to the previous period under review," said Oleg Fedotov, CRC's Director, commenting on the indicators.
