OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2015. These findings have been provided by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, which notes that in the reporting period Moldova's imports from Ukraine reduced 15% to USD 691.1 million.

The turnover between Moldova and Ukraine was USD 747,8 million, Moldova’s negative trade balance amounting to USD 634,4 million. It should be noted that the Ukrainian findings are essential different from those Moldovan. In particular, as the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova reports, Moldova's exports to Ukraine in the reporting period were USD 100.8 million, down 201% against the same period of the past year, with Moldovan imports from Ukraine reducing 14,9% to USD 508.3 million.

According to the NBM figures, the turnover between Moldova and Ukraine reached USD 609.1 million, Moldova’s negative trade balance amounting to USD 407.5 million. Moldova supplies Ukraine with grape wine, sunflower seeds, ethyl alcohol, soya beans and tobacco. It imports from Ukraine oil products, electricity, metal production, coal, flour and cigarettes.
