OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2015. Adjusted to inflation, its real growth amounted to 9.5%. According to the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova, it was MDL 3,964.1 in the public sector (up 17.5% against November 2013), and MDL 4,518.5 (up 14%) in the real sector of the economy of Moldova.

The highest average wage – MDL 8,490.8 was reported in the financial and insurance sector. It was followed by the IT sector, where the average wage was MDL 8.470,6. The wages much higher than the average were paid to employees of the energy-generating sector (MDL 7,611), the sector of professional, scientific and technical activities (MDL 6,027), the public administration, defence and social protection sector (MDL 5,366.3).

The lowest wages were paid to employees of the hotel and catering sector (MDL 2,866.9), the art and entertainment sector (MDL 2,976.2) and the agriculture, fishery and forestry sector (MDL 3,085.2). In the reporting period, the average wage amounted to MDL 3,261.4 in the sector of the administrative and auxiliary administrative services; MDL 3,588.7 in the sectors of commerce and vehicles maintenance; MDL 3,624,1 in education; MDL 4,099.1 in the real estate transactions area; MDL 4,141 in the processing industry; MDL 4,151.2 in the transportation and warehousing sector; MDL 4,350.1 in the water supply and treatment sector; MDL 4395,1 in the construction sector; MDL 4396,9 in the healthcare and social protection sector and MDL 4,628.1 in the mining industry.
