According to the researchers, purchasing 164 vehicles for 37 police stations and equipping every police station of Moldova with computers and printers have become the first results of the agreement implementation. This is expected to shorten the time the police need to respond to complaints by citizens from an hour and a half to thirty minutes.

As the survey say, 43% of people of Moldova think that ensuring the public order is the main problem to be addressed. They say key challenges law enforcement agencies of Moldova are now facing include corruption, incompetence and shortage of finance and equipment.

About 40% of citizens of Moldova trust the Police (against 70% in the EU and 85% in Scandinavian countries); 40% believe that the punishment for the guilty in our country is inescapable (against 58% in Bulgaria and 93% in Denmark).
