OREANDA-NEWS. The cost of creating of car for the President of Russia in the framework of the Unified Modular Platform (EMP) may increase. As the Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, informed, the state will have to increase the costs on the project "Cortege" by 15-20%. We should note that currently the budgetary investment in "Cortege", which must be made before 2017, are estimated at the level of 12.4 billion Rubles.

"Plans for mass production have not changed", - said Mr.Manturov. - It starts at the end of 2017; the first deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2018. They will be minivans, sedans, limousines and SUVs. Sollers will use by 30% those technological solutions that are being developed by the state within one modular platform. The volume of the budget will remain the same, but it may increase with the currency difference and the fact that you are using a large amount of imported equipment. In average, it can be increased by 15-20%. "

According to Mr.Manturov, currently it is determined by the scheme of implementation of the business model. "As for the pre-production, the State will provide support", - he said. - "The development is held entirely at public expense, as it was expected. With regard to equipment - the business takes it for itself".
