OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2015. Pension Fund of Ukraine published information on the decision of the Competition Committee on selection of banks where by consent of pensioners and recipients of social benefits accounts for payment of pensions and social benefits can be opened in 2015. MEGABANK re-entered that list.

MEGABANK has been cooperating with the Pension Fund since 2001. Over the past year the bank attracted for servicing 8,667 pensioners and recipients of social benefits. 147,399 customers of this category have been being served by the bank as of January 1, 2015.

Today, MEGABANK offers its clients – pensioners to use the following tariff packages:

opening a current account to receive a pension through the bank’s cash desk;

opening a current account with the use of a plastic card of the National System of Mass Electronic Payments (NSMEP);

opening of a plastic card of the International Payment Systems.

Recall that 10% per annum is charged to a card account balance.

Also, a bonus program “Care” was developed for pensioners-depositors, it provides for an increase by 0.5% per annum of the interest rates on deposits in national currency and by 0.3% per annum – in foreign currency.
