OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2015. B&N Bank acquires Uralprivatbank from companies affiliated with the former owners of the Rost banking group (currently these banks are in the course of financial rehabilitation procedure under the control of B&N Bank).

The transaction is expected to be completed by February 2015; its amount is not disclosed. The purpose of the acquisition for B&N Bank is to expand its retail business and regional presence.

Uralprivatbank is a sustainable regional bank which has been operating in the market for over 25 years. The bank has 4 offices in Ekaterinburg. B&N Bank assumes all obligations of Uralprivatbank to its customers and ensures their due fulfillment.  

B&N Bank plans to consolidate Uralprivatebank in 2015, after that, all its offices will become a part of B&N Bank’s branch network. As a result, B&N Bank’s branch network in the Sverdlovsk region combined with the offices of Uralprivatbank and the previously acquired Rost Bank will exceed 10 offices.
