Amount of Loans Granted by Banks of Moldova Decreases 15,3%
OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2015. As it was informed in the National Bank, in the structure of credit portfolio of banks of Moldova, despite the significant reduction over the last month, prevail loans for trade (commercial loans) - 32.9% of the total loans vs. 41.9% a month earlier.
In particular, loans to trade at the end of November 2014 amounted to 13 billion 386,9 million lei (-33,4% compared with the previous month). Loans to the food industry as of late November 2014 made up 4 billion 052,9 million lei (-2,3% in comparison with the end of the previous month), industrial production loans - 3 billion 056,6 million lei (-5%), consumer loans - over 2 billion 969 million lei (+0,9%), loans in the provision of services- 2 billion 551,7 million lei (-12,3%), agricultural loans- 2 billion 784,9 million lei (-0,8%).
Loans for the acquisition or construction of real estate amounted to 2 billion 293,9 million lei (+1.4%), loans in the areas of transport, telecommunications and network development- 2 billion 182,3 million lei (-5,3%), loans to individuals engaged in activities- 1 billion 600,3 million lei (-3,3%), loans in the field of construction - 1 billion USD 542.3 million lei (1.3%), loans to the non-bank financial sector - 1 billion 267,3 million lei (-2,2%), energy loans - 1 billion 215 million lei(+8,9%).
