OREANDA-NEWS. The staff appointments are made at the National Bank of Ukraine as part of the ongoing process to streamline the organizational structure of the regulator in line with the Strategic initiative for reforming the banking system and reshuffling the National Bank of Ukraine.

A number of new structural subdivisions ensuring exercise of the principal duty by the regulator have been established at the central office of the National Bank of Ukraine. The following officials have been appointed as chiefs of these organizational subdivisions:

Oleh Churiy - Director of Open Market Operations Department;

Nataliia Ivanenko- Director of Methodology Department;

Nataliia Lapko - Director of Payment Systems Department;

Svitlana Faber - Director of Banking Supervision Department;

Vasyl Sluch - Director of Banking Inspection Department;

Oleksii Berezhnyi - Director of Financial Monitoring Department;

Serhii Nikolaichuk - Director of Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department;

Yurii Polovniov - Director of Statistics and Reporting Department;

Viktor Zaivenko - Director of Cash Circulation Department;

Dmytro Luk'yanov - Director of Information Security Department;

Serhii Podik - Director of Operational Department.

Before being appointed to the current positions, the above-said chiefs of departments held senior positions at the subdivisions of the National Bank of Ukraine, performing similar functions.

In addition, Valentyn Berehulia has been appointed Head of the Regional Office of the National Bank of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast.

The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine has undergone a reshuffle. Thus, the Open Market Operations Department has been designated as organizational subdivision of the National Bank of Ukraine ensuring exercise of the principal duty by the National Bank of Ukraine. Its chief is a member of the National Bank Board ex officio.

Therefore, Director of Open Market Operations Department Oleh Churiy is appointed a member of the National Bank Board.
