Power Machines Successfully Completes Project in Mexico
OREANDA-NEWS. Power Machines OJSC has obtained a final acceptance certificate for hydraulic equipment that passed a two-year warranty maintenance period at the new Mexican La Yesca HPP.
Within the framework of the project to create La Yesca HPP, Power Machines OJSC has acted as a sub-contractor of the Mexican construction company CPH - a subsidiary of the largest construction company ICA, which won the tender held by the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission in 2007.
In accordance with the terms of the contract concluded in 2007 Power Machines OJSC supplied two hydroturbines with capacity of 375 MW each, two hydrogenerators, as well as auxiliary equipment for the new hydropower plant and also performed turnkey design and installation of the turbine hall's electromechanical equipment.
Power Machines OJSC completed manufacture and supply of the main equipment for the two hydropower units in 2010. The first hydropower unit was put into operation in October 2012 and the second one - in November 2012.
