OREANDA-NEWS. The hydrogen production unit has been developed by OJSC E4-SibCOTES for Norilsk CHP-2 plant (OJSC Norilsk-Taimyr Power Company, Krasnoyarsk Territory). The project has received the State expertise approval and will be put into implementation in the nearest feature.

The process hydrogen is used at the CHP plant for generator cooling. There is practically no natural occurrence of this gas - it is extracted for the production purposes with the help of different chemical methods.
