OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2015. Enterprises that participate in the national program of industrial development make a profit. This was announced by Minister of Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev during a working visit to the Mangistau Region.

After reviewing the results of the reconstruction and modernization of the enterprise LLP "KazAzot", the Minister noted that the company, due to modernization, has become competitive in the global fertilizer market. Thus, the products are exported to Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Lithuania.

"The plant's capacity has increased by 50%, more than 250 thousand tons of ammonia, about 450 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizer have been produced. It is pleasant that the number of employees is increasing. 936 people work here now," Asset Issekeshev said.

LLP "KazAzot" produces four kinds of products: liquid and gaseous ammonia, weak nitric 46% acid and granulated ammonium nitrate. Ammoniagaseous and weak nitric acid are used in processes as semi-finished items and reagents in the production of ammonium nitrate.
