Rostelecom President Acquires Additional Shares
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2015. Rostelecom OJSC (MOEX - RTS: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, today announces that its President, Sergey Kalugin, has acquired 4,028,715 ordinary shares and 6,804,052 preferred shares in Rostelecom for approximately RUB 760 million.
This block of shares is equivalent to 0.372% of the Company’s share capital. As a result of transaction Mr Kalugin`s stake has increased to 0.384% of the Company’s share capital.
Mr Kalugin previously acquired 339,480 ordinary Rostelecom shares (0.0117% of the Company’s share capital) in July 2014.
Sergey Kalugin, President of Rostelecom, commented: “This is my second acquisition of Rostelecom shares and should serve as a signal of my belief in the Company’s potential and ability to deliver sustainable growth. I wish to demonstrate once again my personal and direct interest in Rostelecom’s successful development to our shareholders.”
Rostelecom has share capital of RUB 7,280 million which is represented by 2,669,204,301 ordinary shares with a nominal value of RUB 0.0025 per share, and 242,831,469 preferred shares with a nominal value of RUB 0.0025 per share.
