OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2015. At the same time, the updated list has undergone a number of the nominal changes. A number of companies have been excluded from this list and their place was taken by the new companies. One of the main surprises was the absence in the list of major taxpayers in 2015, the company Ascom Grup, headed by one of the richest citizens of Moldova, billionaire Anatolii Stati.

The list of the largest taxpayers of Moldova in 2015 does not include Termocom, which was declared bankrupt and its assets were taken over by HEC-2 and HEC-1, since this company was absorbed by HEC-2. The list of the largest taxpayers of Moldova in 2015 does not include wine companies (Purcari, Bostavan, etc). At the same time, it includes the media holding General Media Group (Prime, Publika TV, 2Plus, Canal 3), as well as the company Dufremol, which owns a network of duty-free in Moldova.

In general, the document published by the General State Tax Inspectorate in Monitorul Oficial were registered 359 companies from Chisinau (7 more than in 2014), 23 companies from Balti (5 companies less than in 2014) and from 1 to 13 companies from 25 regions of Moldova, of which the most number - 13 from Ialoveni district. At the same time, in 7 regions (Basarabeasca, Vulcanesti, Dubasari, Glodeni, Leova, Soldanesti, Taraclia) were not registered any major taxpayer. It should be noted that previously the maximum number of the large taxpayers was increased from 400 to 450.

The minimum criteria to determine the taxpayer is from 2 million to 3 million lei- the sum of taxes paid by the company for the calendar year excluding VAT, excise taxes and other payments administered by the Customs service. At the same time in condition when the company is named as a major taxpayer, its financial revenues or total cost of delivery shall be not less than 50 million lei per year.

In accordance with the applicable law, the companies named as major taxpayers, are administered by the special Department of Fiscal services. From 2014, the Management of the large taxpayers was transformed into the Directorate of the large taxpayers.
