During the meeting with Prime Minister of Estonia the interlocutors focused on the situation in the East of Ukraine. Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed concern about the situation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, "We have tackled recent events, when, in fact, Russia continues sending its troops and terrorists and is escalating the situation".

With regard to a sanction issue, Arseniy Yatsenyuk was quoted as saying, "Only complete abiding by the Minsk Protocol should be a prerequisite for any talks about future sanctions. And until the moment Russia withdraws its terrorists and ensures security at the border, we should do everything to make the Minsk agreement followed".
