OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2015. The University of Tartu and the Estonian Public Broadcasting (ERR) opened their joint channel of research news ERR Novaator, novaator.err.ee, that will put greater emphasis on introducing Estonian research and researchers.

Both ERR and the UT wish to focus more on introducing and explaining Estonian research to the society, including the cooperation of researchers and businesses. ERR Novaator will continue to publish translated stories, but comments and opinions by Estonian researchers will be added to them. In addition to research news, the portal will also cover more general research topics: profile stories of researchers, topics of international recognition, research funding, research policy and other related issues.

The portal also continues to publish the series of the University of Tartu “Teadus 100 sekundiga” (“Research in 100 seconds”) and the series of Tallinn University “Uhe minuti loeng” (“One minute lecture”). Similarly, the portal will continue to webcast exciting seminars and conferences.

Currently the portal is only in Estonian.
