OREANDA-NEWS. KKR today announced the appointment of Haroun van Hovell as a Managing Director and the Head of its Energy Team covering Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Haroun van Hovell joined KKR from Riverstone Holdings, where he was a Managing Director and responsible for sourcing and managing investments across the energy industry, with a particular focus on the exploration & production and midstream sectors. Haroun's prior experience also includes 4Gas Holding, The Carlyle Group and Salomon Smith Barney.
