OREANDA-NEWS. Sunday, January 11, the Minister for Interior of Latvia Rihards Kozlovskis will represent the EU Council Presidency in the international ministerial meeting in Paris.

The minister will also join the silent march for national unity to demonstrate solidarity with the French people after two terrorist attacks this week in Paris.“I strongly believe that this is the right moment for us to have a joint and coherent reaction on terrorism. Fight against all forms of expression of the terrorism is high on my agenda and Latvia as the current Presidency of the Council of the EU will definitely draw specific attention to this issue,” said Kozlovskis.

Latvia this week strongly condemned the terrorist attack of an outrageous cruelty at the office of the French weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo.
