OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2015. Chen Fenjian, president of CCCC, met with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic in Serbia.

The two sides exchanged views on CCCC's business development in Serbia. Wen Gang, president assistant of CCCC and chairman of CRBC, was present.

Chen thanked the Serbian government for its support for the construction of Zemun-Borca Bridge, stressed that the project is CCCC's first infrastructural project in Central and Eastern Europe, the process of project design, consultation and construction integrated world top construction forces and advantageous elements and produced strong demonstration effects, and expected that CCCC would continue to give play to its tremendous strength in infrastructural construction and participate in the investment and construction of more projects in Serbia with the strong support of the Serbian government in the future, so as to make a positive contribution to Serbia's economic development.

Nikolic congratulated CCCC on completing the construction of Zemun-Borca Bridge successfully. Serbia welcomes and needs foreign investment in its future construction and development, he said, expecting to expand cooperation with China so as to further promote Serbia's economic development in cooperation, create more jobs and thoroughly advance the traditional friendship cooperation relationship between China and Serbia. He also offered concrete opinions on the mode of future cooperation between Serbia and Chinese enterprises.

Mihajlovic noted that cooperative projects between China and Serbia are mostly infrastructural projects, during the Third Meeting of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries under way in Serbia, leaders of the two countries discussed the new mode of future cooperation. She expected the two sides to implement more cooperative projects and further intensify cooperation in the future. Also, she introduced Serbia's projects under preparation.
