OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2015. Fitch Ratings International rating agency changed prognosis by a long-term rating of emmitent default of Kazakhtelecom JSC from "Stable " to "Positive" and confirmed BB rating.

Simultaneously the agency increased national long-term rating of the company from "A(kaz)" to "A+(kaz)" and appropriated "Positive " prognosis by rating .

Revision of prognosis to "Positive " reflects improving of company's liquidity , reduction of cut between income in national currency and debt in foreign currency , improving of cash flow , successful start of mobile communication and , as a result , reduction of plans realization risks , connected with further extend of mobile segment.

Fitch Ratings analytics also noted strong positions of Kazakhtelecom as traditional telecom operator and gave positive prognosis by sector of broadband communication, underlined absolute leadership of operator in that segment with market share over 70%. "Speeking on successful exit of the company to mobile segment , Kazakhtelecom is still single 4G operator in the country , that gives the company considerable competitive advantage before other operators. Considerable increase of subscribers means that Kazakhtelecom could use its technological advantage for market share raise ", - concluded in the agency.
