Hydro International announced new appointments
Representation of the Group's Americas operations on the Global Leadership Team is completed by the appointment of Adam Neumayer, the existing Director and General Manager of the Americas Wastewater Division. Adam joined Eutek Systems in 1998, which became part of the Hydro Group following acquisition in 2008. Adam took on the leadership of the division in 2009 following a variety of sales and development roles. Adam is based in Hillsboro, Oregon.
These appointments follow the resignation of Steve Hides, formerly President of the Group's americas operations, who left Hydro at the end of 2014. Steve was the Group's first employee and his departure brings to a close a period of over 30 years dedicated and valued service, including 12 years as the Group's Chief Executive. In a similar vein, Bob Andoh, formerly Hydro's Chief Technology Officer, also left the Group at the end of 2014, in this case after 22 years. Going forward, Bob will continue to offer his valuable support to Hydro in a consulting capacity.
Michael Jennings commented: "We are very pleased to be able to welcome Jim Newkirk to the Hydro leadership team. He joins us at an exciting time for the business as our strategy to drive growth continues to take shape. His market background and experience in building teams which successfully deliver growth sits well with the challenges ahead in the Americas Stormwater Division, but also in Hydro's wider business globally. I remain very positive about our prospects and potential as a Group and Jim's recruitment represents another step forward as we continuously develop the organisation to fulfil our strategic objectives."
