OREANDA-NEWS. From January to December of 2014, the growth for all the production indices was noted at "Zaporizhstal" SW: iron - for 9.1%, steel - for 3.8%, rolled stock - for 5% as compared with the same period of 2013.

"In 2014, "Zaporizhstal" SW, operating in the most complicated economic conditions, was carrying out a large-scale revamping of the Works, implemented large investment projects considering the ecological component. Taking into account the hardest situation in Ukraine, nevertheless, "Zaporizhstal" SW, in 2014, achieved the growth of all production indices", the General Director of "Zaporizhstal" SW Rostyslav Shurma noted.

From January to December, 2014, there was produced 3,512.6 thousand tons of iron, 3,963.6 thousand tons of steel, 3,384.2 thousand tons of rolled stock.

In December, 2014 there was produced 315.2 thousand tons of iron, 321.7 thousand tons of steel, 269.7 thousand tons of rolled stock.
