Demand for Older Cars Is Growing in Secondary Market in Moscow
OREANDA-NEWS. During the purchase of used cars, Russians every year prefer older and older cars. This is the conclusion of experts of "AAA Auto" by the results of analytical study of used car sales in Russia over the last three years.
Thus, the share of cars aged 6-10 years among all sold cars grows annually by 10% in average, while the share of 3-5 year old cars fall by the same 10% per year. Analysts connect this trend to the fact that Russian buyers begin to realize that by buying a car from a European company, they get a guaranteed tested car, with clearly documented status of all units and guarantees. So buyers feel that they can buy safely older car in good condition, which costs less.
