Mostotrest Employees Win Prizes of Professional Excellence Competition
OREANDA-NEWS. Employees of Mostotrest have become prize winners of the professional excellence competition held by the Moscow Complex of City-Planning Policy and Construction among young professional of the city's construction industry.
Design engineer Vladimir Prokhorov, construction manager Dmitry Zaikin, cost consultant Sofia Sestrichko and occupational safety specialist Aleks Yashchenko won the competition in the nomination "Road construction." Dmitry Zaikin also became a winner in the individual class in the nomination "Best construction manager."
Awards have been handed out at the meeting of the city command for Moscow road and transport infrastructure construction and cooperation with OJSC RZD. Head of Moscow's Construction Department Andrey Bochkarev awarded the winners on behalf of Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin and his deputy for city-planning policy Marat Khusnullin.
The competition is held among young professionals of Moscow's construction companies in order to develop traditions of professional excellence, mentoring, improvement of the bench strength training and enhancement of prestige of highly skilled labor in the city's construction industry.
Mostotrest is a major, diversified infrastructure construction company, with established presence in all core and related market segments, and a participant in Russia's first public-private partnership projects. According to EMBS Group, an independent industry consultancy, in 2013 Mostotrest held a 9.9% share of the total Russian transport infrastructure construction market.

The company was established in 1930 as a developer of complex and oversized bridges.
Mostotrest is currently participating in implementation of a number of complex transport infrastructure development projects, such as construction of the Section 4 (km 208 - km 258) and Section 6 (km 334 - km 543) of the M-11"Moscow - St Petersburg" Toll Highway, construction and reconstruction of the M-4 "Don", M-9 "Baltic" and M-11 "Narva" highways, construction of Businovskaya Interchange in Moscow, Bor Bridge in Nizhny Novgorod and Voroshilovsky Bridge in Rostov-on-Don.
