OREANDA-NEWS. Mostotrest executives have been honored with state awards for their contribution to the preparation and holding of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games in 2014.

On December 24, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov and Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men awarded Viktor Korotin, Mostotrest First Deputy CEO and Chief Engineer, Andrey Struk, Mostotrest Deputy CEO for Sochi region, and Oleg Martychenko, Transstroymekhanizatsiya Deputy CEO, with the Order of Friendship.

Earlier, in September 2014, Mostotrest CEO Vladimir Vlasov was awarded with the Order of Friendship, and Transstroymekhanizatsiya CEO Boris Sakun was awarded with the Order of Honor.

The Mostotrest Group has completed eleven complex construction projects of Olympic facilities in Sochi despite tight deadlines. As a general contractor, the Group has constructed transport interchanges such as "Golubye Dali", "Stadium", "Adler Ring", the second and third phase of the Kurortny Avenue Relief Road and reconstructed the Adler airport. Mostotrest was a subcontractor in the construction of five more sites, including the combined (motor and rail) road from Adler to the Alpika-Service mountain resort and the first phase of the Kurortny Avenue Relief Road. The operations have been carried out in dense urban areas. The mountainous terrain and high seismic activity in the region have added to the technical complexity of the projects.
