OREANDA-NEWS. Nasdaq Armenia (NA) and Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) signed a Memorandum of cooperation to develope educational programs for specialization in securities market.

According to the Memorandum NA and ASUE agree to jointly organize and implement conferences, seminars and discussions as well as researches. They intent to jointly develop curriculums on securities market, as well as choose topics of thesis wich shall comply with the scope of the job oferred to the alumni by NA.

During the ceremony Rector of ASUE, Mr. Koryun Atoyan, mentioned: "The main mission of our university is to provide qualified education and without cooperation with employers it will be impossible". NASDAQ Armenia CEO, Mr. Konstantin Saroyan, added, that the formal signing of memorandum actually summarizes the cooperation between the parties.

NA considers very important the financial literacy and education of students, the evidence of which are regularly organized open doors days for students and lecturers from ASUE and other universities at NA and Central Depository of Armenia, as well as internship programs for the students from various universities.
 
About ASUE
The foundation sources of ASUE arise from 1930, from Cooperative-Economics Institute. According to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on November 30, 1999 the University was renamed Yervan State Institute of Economics, and on June 6, 2006 got University status and was called Armenian State University of Economics State Non- commercial organization.

Abut 30.000 alumni have graduated from the University since now. Currently, a number of doctors of sciences, professors, candidates of sciences, associate professors, assistant professors teach at the University's professional and non-professional chairs, as well as highly qualified specialists teach part time at the University.
