ICBC Launches New Web Portals
OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2014. ICBC has lately upgraded its homepage of web portal. With a simpler design style, the new website takes into consideration browsing habit of mobile banking customers, unifying the style of web portal and mobile financial channels.
According to a relevant executive with ICBC, the new homepage provides customers with more convenient navigation, more pleasant interface and more user-friendly internet financial services. For example, an “eBuy” access is added to the logon zone, saving customers from inputting the URL in the address bar of browser and enabling them to enjoy more convenient online shopping for branded products in well-known stores. Internet financial products such as ICBC e-payment and mobile banking are added to the quick service column.
Customers are able to experience ICBC’s mobile financial services in a real-time manner. Meanwhile, in order to meet customers’ needs in wealth management, the homepage ushers in an investment & wealth management module to offer abundant information and transaction channels, enabling customers to enjoy efficient one-stop wealth management services covering information, products and transactions.
In terms of layout, ICBC has re-designed the site navigation to adapt to customers’ browsing habits. Text information is moderately reduced and frequently-used services are highlighted in icons on the homepage. More pictures are used to enhance displaying effect and browsing experience. In addition, the new website improves the intelligent service function. The intelligent service dialog box slides synchronously as customers browse the webpage, facilitating them to solve problems in banking services.
