OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2014. The session of the Republican trilateral commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations has been held in the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the General Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, republican associations of employees and employers in the years 2015-2017 was signed at the session.

"I would like to say that signatory agreement sets out the principles of regulation of labor and related economic relations. The whole range of issues in the labor and social spheres is reflected in this document. The agreement is formed in accordance with the socio-economic challenges in the medium term. The key point of the new General Agreement is that it is designed to reflect the new law on trade unions," Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev said.

He also expressed the hope that the new law will be reflected at the level of sectoral and regional agreements in the future, as well as in collective bargaining.

The social partners - the Federation of Trade Unions, the Confederation of Labour of Kazakhstan, the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Kazakhstan, National Chamber of entrepreneurs and industry associations of employers have contributed to the development of the agreement.

Parties to the agreement identified such priorities as the sphere of employment and improvement of the quality of human resources, priorities in the field of improving productivity, social security, and development of social partnership.
