OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2014. Sberbank congratulated the winners of the competition “Best Exchange Trader Among Sberbank Clients – 2014”, which was held among the participants of the Moscow Exchange competition “Best Private Investor 2014”.

The awards ceremony for the winners of the competition “Best Exchange Trader Among Sberbank Clients – 2014” took place at Moscow Exchange. Representatives of Sberbank and Moscow Exchange congratulated the winners of the competition and awarded them commemorative diplomas and prizes.

The winners who showed the best profits on stock and derivatives markets and secured top positions were named “Best Exchange Trader on the Stock Market Among Sberbank Clients” and “Best Exchange Trader on the Derivatives Market Among Sberbank Clients”.

During the period between September 15 and December 2, 2014, 2,734 private investors from every region of Russia took part in the competition. Clients with brokerage accounts at Sberbank of Russia or who opened one during the application filing period were invited to participate. Participants completed operations with various Moscow Exchange financial instruments and competed for the top five places on the stock market and the top five places on the derivatives market.

The number of active participants, who during the competition completed 10 transactions worth a total of 100,000 rubles, reached 1,483 – 1.5 times as many people as in 2013. Winners included participants from Ukhta, Irkutsk, Moscow, Oryol, Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk, Saratov, as well as Penza Oblast and the Republic of Bashkortostan. They were invited to the awards ceremony in Moscow.
