OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2014. The Regulations of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus “On Approval of the Regulations on the procedure for allocation, usage and withdrawal of numbering resource and Amending the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of March 17, 2004 №302” comes into force on January 9, 2015.

In accordance with Clause 8 of Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of  July 01, 2014 "On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Belarus" On Telecommunications "(National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus, July 8,2014, 2/2170) Article 16 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus " On Telecommunications "is recited in a new edition. The new edition of the Article provides that the allocation of numbering resource of the unified telecommunications network of the Republic of Belarus to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, its usage and withdrawal from legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are conducted in accordance with the procedure established by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, in compliance with the system and dialing plan of the public telecommunications network approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. In this regard, the Order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of December 9, 2014 №1153 approved the Regulations on the procedure for allocation, usage and withdrawal of numbering resource, worked out pursuant to Article 3 of the Law.

The Regulations on the procedure for allocation, usage and withdrawal of numbering resource establishes a uniform procedure for allocation of the numbering resource of the unified telecommunications network of the Republic of Belarus to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, its usage and withdrawal from legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
