OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2014. Alfa-Bank Ukraine reports receiving credit lines from the State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine under the Additional Financing for the Second Export Development Project (AF EDP-2), and the Energy Efficiency Project (EEP), both of which are administered by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The AF EDP-2 is for USD 25 million, while the EEP amounts to USD 15 million. Both loan agreements have five year maturities. The funds are targeted at the financing of export development and boosting the energy efficiency of enterprises operating in Ukraine’s private sector.

“Making targeted financing available within the framework of joint projects with Ukreximbank and the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development will extend the sources of financing for Alfa-Bank’s corporate clients doing business in Ukraine,” noted Rushan Hvesyuk, Chief Executive Officer, Alfa-Bank Ukraine, “For our clients that means, first and foremost, affordability of long-term financing.”
